As a playwright, it is always exciting to see how my words, characters and ideas are brougtht to life on the stage.  I enjoy being a part of the rehearsal process, and working with the director.  However, because of location and my busy teaching schedule, this is not always possible.  In those instances, I arrive at the theatre (if I am able to attend,) holding my breath, waiting to see what will happen.  More often than not, I have been wonderfully pleased with how my work has been interpreted. Theatre, after all is a collaborative art.  Each artist brings something new and different to every production.
